Management needs to handle tenants that dogs bark all day.

You are better off living in a shack. I’m seeing people mentioning a new apartment manager, let’s hope that new apartment manager gives you your deposit back! I had to deal with the old manager, I believe her name was Emily. Me and my husband lived here two years ago, and we were told straight up, no deposits were returned to anyone regardless of the upkeep of the apartment . Supposedly basic maintenance like paint and new carpet costs 2k . Regardless of that, it’s illegal to take a deposit due to some paint chips. Because of that we did not pay last months rent, the deposit that was taken from us was hefty and we had been taken advantage of so much already. It will be insanity to give them last months rent, and let them keep the 2k deposit. Due to that , 21 lux sent the debt to small claims, me and my husband now plan to sue 21 Lux For the awful mistreatment they have put us through . Ironic they are the ones pursuing this , when I felt as though I was sparing them by not taking this to court initially. We consistently asked for maintenance to be done, they hadn’t showed up more than maybe once in an entire year to fix our sink, they couldn’t even do that properly. We had to get a friend to do it for us. The maintenance man would consistently ask if I “did blow” and would offer to take drugs with me and my husband ( I never acted interested so I’m not too sure why he kept pursuing us). Craziest part of all, I decided to call the woman who manages the apartment , potentially the owner. I told her about the harassment of the maintenance man, she said that it was impossible that happened because it was not “in his character”. Overall an extremely sketchy, and disgusting place who will take advantage of you, live ANYWHERE else!!! Also, I find it very ironic that they haven’t deleted any of their reviews , clearly I’m not the first or the last person they have ROBBED.

The new manager has been amazing!!! I finally have a porch light and a light in the stairwell I haven't had a decent light outside my front door in 7 years. Sense the new management has been here this place is a clean friendly comfortable place to live. The manger Mary takes the time to build a relationship with me as a tenant she shows interest in my problems and concerns and actually takes the time to fix them I love living at commons on 2nd

Was chilling on f-a-c-e book and I saw that Commons Management wants us to give them a review so here's my review, this place is amazing the apartment managers Mary and Maddie that runs this place are truly the best managers around ! , if they see something that needs to be done they get on it quick , they're very friendly and easy to get along with I've had no problems at all and they both made me feel welcome and safe I'm happy to call this my home and you should too! Show your love and support for these guys the truly are the best ! Thank you! Mary & Maddy you guys Rock! 🤘

Poor communication. Office workers have a lot going on, but they execute notifications poorly. Refuse to work with you or come to an agreement in any capacity. Maintenance is great. Neighbors suck.

Mary is one of the best property managers I have seen in my time living with her being in charge, not to mentioned that my children absolutely adore her and always stop by just to say hi when we walk home from school or the park when she is there. She is understanding and always has a smile on her face even when you can tell it’s a stressful day! Anybody would be be lucky to rent from her!!!!

Wow! Still amazed at how smoothly an office staff can run! The dynamic four-some of Mary,Maddie,Josh and Jesse at Commons on 2nd are truly a new renters dream! They've taken a slightly dysfunctional mess and turned it into paradise for the renters here,I've been here 5 yrs.now and every request I've ever submitted is answered promptly,fairly,and without any waiting period,Kudos to this more than responsible team for handling matters as they come! I only wish I d been here longer,such a wonderful team effort by this staff! Congrats! You've got our vote!!

Hi,I'm Jose Esquibel,I've lived at Commons on 2nd for 5+ years now,I've never seen a more thoughtful,caring,down-to-earth team as Maddie and Mary here in the office! They've made this place not only fun to live at,but I think they have added a unique "family touch in all they do! They treat EVERYONE with the same respect as they would their own family and by far the best property managers I have ever encountered in my stay here,I can only hope they will be here in the years to come as they have truly re-written the book on customer service and down home partnerships,such a blessing to us all.Thanks!
